HWA Charitable Foundation
HWA Charitable foundation is a not for profit, Section-8 Company registered under Companies act, government of India. Although, HWA was formally registered under section -8 in 2019, HWA team was formed in 2005 and has been constantly working among the poor and the underprivileged in Bangalore. It has been providing ration, medical support and education support. During any emergency situation within Bangalore and outside, the volunteers of HWA has immediately sprung to action and supported the people affected by it.”

“I am very happy to introduce you and welcome you to our NGO “HWA Charitable Foundation” on behalf of my colleagues at HWA. Having got an opportunity to live and work for many years in Bangalore which is one of the fastest growing cities of India, we happened to come across many people who are very well off and living in posh bungalows and apartments and on other side many other people who are forced to the live in slum pockets under extremely poor living conditions with not even a proper roof above them to sleep, basic sanitary amenities, privilege to have basic education for their kids or health services. A strong desire to uplift these under-privileged part of the society by empowering them to achieve development has been the main drive force for the formation of HWA. We plan to focus on empowerment of women and children irrespective who could be the driving force to uplift a family from such conditions to a better place for them in the society in future by a holistic and systematic approach of development through our Udhbav project.

Dr Taha Mateen is a renowned physician graduated from US University and MD of Acura Speciality Hospital and HBS Hospital in Bangalore. He is also a very active social service and heading multiple charity activities, the latest one being the Mercy Mission providing relief to thousands of people during the Corona virus lockdown period in Bangalore.
Mr PC Mustafa
Mustafa PC is the Managing Director at ID Special, one of the reputed food product business houses in India. He was formerly senior software R&D manager at Intel and CitiBank. He is also recipient of Forbes India Award for Excellence. He is actively involved in many charity and venture capital organizations. He is an Alumni of NITK and IIMB
Mr Ravi Kumar Govindan
Ravi Kumar is an experienced industrialist and MD of Mircotex Energy Private Limited, manufacturing and exporting batteries around the world and employing hundreds of employees. He is very enthusiastic about helping human beings and social activities but in a low profile manner.
Mr Moosa Kalathil
He is a director at Acura Speciality Hospital, and Storewell Retail. He was the founder of Selva Foods a food processing company in Bangalore. Previously was working as a professor of Commerce at Sir Syed College, and Alumni of Ferok College Calicut.
Mr Sabu Shefeeq
Sabu is Co-founder & CEO of Azure End to End Solutions Pvt. Ltd. and EduTech startup in Bangalore. He has 28 years in IT Industry. Previously he was working as Senior manager R&D @Hewlett Packard and Scientific Officer at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre. He was the founding president of Hira Welfare Association and Model City Association. Sabu is an Alumnus of NIT Calicut, BARC Training School
Mr Sahir K
Sahir K was the CEO & Co-Founder STORILABS, 15+ years of experience in Information Technology business. He has played key roles at IBM, Hewlett-Packard, and Siemens prior to being an entrepreneur. He has been in social service field from school days and leading many organizations. He has done his MCA from CEDTI.
Mr Abdul Raheem O A
Raheem is the owner of a garment manufacturing company. He was previously into garment whole sale business in Bangalore. He is active in social circles and the president of Kerala Samajam Magadi zone.

Mr. Hassan Koya is one of the founding member of HWA. He is a pharmacist by profession and through his knowledge of pharmacy, he has been helping many patients in getting medicines at subsidised cost.
Mr.Shameer Mohamed

Shameer Mohamed, is an Architect by profession and is running his own architectural practice. He is passionate towards bring about a change in the society by empowering people.
Mr. Anwar Hussain
CFO
Anwar Hussain, is also one of the founding member of HWA and a constant support in the growth of HWA. He is into retail business and real estate.
Mr. Anoop Ahmed

Anoop Ahmed is an IT professional and is leading a team of mentors to provide mentorship for students. The team under him also identifies high scoring, capable students from poor background/ orphans, who needs financial support and helps them with financial assistance.
