House Handover to flood victims by HMS students

During the Coorg floods of 2019, the students of Hira Moral School (HMS) decided to lend a helping hand to those affected by the disastrous flood, which led to several families losing their homes. They approached us to identify the beneficiaries and help build the houses.

During a 2 day field trip to Coorg from madrasa, students visited the flood hit areas and met with families affected by flood. The students were determined to help the families. They could collect Rs. 13 lakhs /- towards this noble cause.

As the fruit of their hard work and all the donations received, the houses have now been built and handed over to the families.

A few students from madrassa travelled all the way to Thithimathi village in Kodagu to join the happiness with their friends who got new homes.

On the evening of Friday, September 10, in the presence of local village panchayat officials and other dignitaries, keys were handed over.
